Cherilyn Williams is the Vice President of Purpose Driven Marketing at Marriott International. In this role, she is responsible for leading the company’s initiatives aimed at driving deeper bonds with consumers over shared values around diversity, inclusion, and social impact. During her tenure at Marriott she has been recognized as a change agent for developing the company’s approach to inclusive and social impact marketing.
Prior to joining Marriott, Cherilyn held several roles in Sales & Marketing with Hilton Hotels, including Director of Corporate Sales at The Waldorf Astoria in New York.
Cherilyn earned a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and her Masters of Business Administration from the University of Michigan, Ross School of Business in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
A native of Washington, DC, where she attended the National Cathedral School, Cherilyn returned to the area to continue building her career and pursue her long-term goal of hotel ownership.
