Katie Hanna is the Matthew Shepard Foundation’s Director of Programs. She oversees support resources for the Legacy Works programming, as well as coordinating speaking engagements for the Shepards.

Katie is originally from Bowling Green, OH and holds a BS in Psychology from Wake Forest University and a JD from University of Denver – Sturm College of Law. Katie has worked in the fields of social services, law and non-profit, most recently in patient navigation and advocacy in healthcare.
